Thoughts about oil in the exhaust ports?

You might still have to have the block and head machined. The sealing rings tend to indent into the head, and the surface may not be the right RA for a MHG.

There ARE environmentally friendly strippers out there... But if you want to do it with a grinder, there's stuff like this: http://www.acehardware.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3642457&cagpspn=pla

It's more the length of piping and not the turns. Not to mention how many times I've seen people scrape that pipe and get leaks from torn couplers because of it...

    Advice for the next step.

Cams move your power band around. The issue is that you're going to be opening up the top end where the CT falls flat on it's face. HP/$, cams aren't a good buy unless you're on a large turbo and a standalone with a higher rev limit (and of course everything that goes with it).

Thoughts about oil in the exhaust ports?

Yeah, paying someone else to do it always complicates matters. Pulling the bumper is really easy though. It's mainly just the two large bolts that bolt the entire assembly to the frame rails, and a couple fasteners on the side to attack to the fender liners and fenders.

It looks like a distributor, but it's not... The black and tan combo is pretty rare as well, I'd keep it just because of that. Also, never heard of an engine blowing from a clogged cat...

Thoughts about oil in the exhaust ports?

Should have done a compression test before pulling the head. It's probably just the valve stem seals.

There's actually a hell of a lot of options, but nobody wants to drop the cash. It's not like they're any more expensive than the BBK's for the MKIV Supra...

    Hawken (Beta)

Hawken has gotten an unheard of amount of money backing it for a free to play game. Hope it goes well. I'm still waiting for my beta invite, but from what I've seen and heard, it's much better than Mechwarrior Online. Honestly, if you want to do mechwarrior, play the Crysis mod, Mechwarrior...

Ignore the fact that you swapped. If you have a W58, get the NA driveshaft. If you have an R154, get the turbo driveshaft. They apparently don't know jack in this case...

Won't matter, the pressure in the exhaust will force the wastegate open at some point.

Just hooked up normally, what is the boost pressure? As a general rule, boost controllers can only go up to about double the stock pressure, beyond that, you need to change the spring.
