Yes, they are damn hard to get out as they are a tight fit. To get mine out, I uscrew the bottom part, and rev the engine until the exhaust shoots it out, which it only takes one time to do it and not much throttle, but pulling one out by hand or with pliers... :nono:
Well guys, I used the cleaning disc on the PS2, it didn't work. It'll play a DVD (haven't tried any games yet) but you can't skip right to the menu or it will stop playing. You can, however, tell it to go to a certain title (episode) and it will play it, you can skip chapters too and it's fine...
Based on what I've heard from you so far with your experiences with the lex AFM, I'd hazard a guess and say the resetting ecu is the main contributing factor to a properly running setup with the stock injectors. The ecu would have to relearn everything so it would think the lex AFM was the...
Based on the rest of the cooleeze product lineup for the MKIII supra, I'd say it's mild steel, with mandrel bends, but chopped up and welded together to get the correct exhaust path instead of being one long exhaust mandrel bent in one piece. I have the RSR-GTII, one of the cheaper exhaust and...
What are these "turbo seals"?
Is it possible to get a larger line to get the extra oil out fast enough, and then it will stop the smoking? I though I had heard that somewhere by one of the more reputable members on here before... :dunno:
I agree. This would be great information to sticky, with a big note that this is what it's supposed to do with a careful eye on the A/F's, a reset ECU, and properly running electronics throughout. ;)
I am assuming you are running your engine in tip top shape too. Think of what condition the sensors are in, in a lot of these +20 year old supras. A lot of people don't understand that a faulty sensor coupled with the lex afm could be disaster. Such as an o2 sensor on it's way out.
I find it...
I've killed a friends PS2 before from a ~4 foot drop when I sat back on the couch playing guitar hero and cord wasn't long enough... Ouch.
I keep my PS2 on the dresser.
How's your motor fairing with your setup? There's been others on here have engine failures with this combo before. Do you think it's becuase they don't reset the ecu and/or have no way to increase fuel pressure or upgrade the fuel pump, etc?
What exactly do you have on the motor as is right...
My friend also had a first release, his had the same problems as mine did... I miss the bigger style PS2's. We've still got one in the house, but it's my room mate's, not mine. They were built better IMO.
