Its not intermittently, It will get progressively worse until it stops reading. I just redid the wiring on it a couple weeks ago (had the wrong input wire before) and it is all still fine. It just seems to go dead unusually fast.

If there is a way of modifying them, I would like to know too. I don't see how that is possible though as the threads are part of the shock absorber. I still have about half an inch left of threads left in the adjustment area, but I'm bottoming out the shock :(
