My bad for not being clear on that, I was referring to the tolerances only in the TSRM ;). If you remove the material already built up, it will eat away at the cams and fill right back up, also making the clearances even larger than before.

Do quick search on babbit material on here. There's a thread on here explaining why most people see the scored cam journals and caps. The soft babbit material used as a coating wears off. You can always check the tolerances. If they are out of spec, you should be able to resize the caps and...
