Ever wonder where all them bald spots come from, yup you guessed it sunroofs, targas, ect. I should know, yup I had a convertible when I was young now I got one too LOL... Stay Smart, Hairy, and COOL, cruise in a HARDtop and use your A/C:)

I totally admit I know nothing about what really goes on since ALL I know is what I read, see and hear about the war on terror. Can you admit the same thing publicly? We all have different sources opf info input. I try very hard to balance my views with input from all points of view. From I...
One bad apple doesn’t spoil the entire basket. I feel if today's Americans had the stomach like our parents and grandparents did 50 years ago. We would have gone conquered and came home already. We need movies like Know your enemy Japan, and Know your enemy Germany, this way we would educate...
Wix filters are sold at car quest, and I think I saw someone here say napa filters are wix also, but I'm not sure of that. As far as the oil filters go, the apple and oranges comment can be put to rest using the link to Bob the oil guys site and looking at his testing done on oil filters.
Rick
If I’m not mistaking Bob the oil guy has a link showing just how much dirt a K&N Air Filter lets thru and does not recommend them. So I wouldn't imagine their oil filters are much better, their just great at advertising. I also read either here or another site that the FIPK actually...
It's simple physics, take some frame away and there's going to be more twist, especially if you have a habit of flying up driveways at an angle. I see many folks with lowered cars of all kinds take speed bumps, and dips at angles, this cause some nasty twisting of your unibody.

Today on the way to work I saw a white supra that I have seen before. The owner has bought 78 Series tires for his sawblades, talk about a 4X4 look LOL. On the alignment thing, I let Toyota here in oceanside do my alignment, so far on two sets of goodyear's and 60k miles I have not had to...
The way I see it is, if you want to cruise, be cool and are not interested in handling or drag racing go Targa. If on the other hand you want to race, and go around corners there is no substitute for a hardtop supra, unless of course you have a roll cage and all the other associated frame...
I’d say any car that isn't 50/50 in weight distribution and has a lighter rear end such as ours can use a little down force now and then. Take my old 68 charger, they thought they had an awesome aero body but it turned out the rear pillars leading down onto the trunk deck instead of creating...
Ya it's functional aerodynamic shape does leave alot to be desired comapred to the fat unaerodynamic shape of the stock wing. Guess it's all about downforce which the stocker can creat about zip. Check out the cross section of the stock wing and you will see there is no aero shape to it. So I...
More Firebird Wing Pics. I kinda like the color matching the trim and wheels myself. Rustoleum hammered black was a close match. Maybe someday i'll see what it looks like white, but thats after I pick up 4 17" X 8" mustang star rims and have them polished.

Oh ya and bribed by the fedral government through highway taxes to act as if were a common democracy, the kind where whats good for one is good for all, ya know that commie crap. Also Cali may have the stricktest smog laws but hey it's 2006, folks with mk4's are getting 1000hp and can still pass...
My fav junkyard mod is my rear wing off an 86 firebird, it's a perfect match and to me doenst have that fat non aerodynamic look of the stock wing.
Rick
I made an excel sheet that takes into account the weight on each tire, on each corner, the maximum weight each tire can hold at it's maximum air pressure and used that to calculate my optimum tire pressure. I have used it for years, it works great. My current 89 supra is on it's second set of...
