    A Defiled MKIV

I am just giving my thoughts, everyone has different tastes in modding. Owning an MK4 doesn't change my point of view, it gives me an understanding of what it takes to modify that car. I am not pretending to be an ambassador, thanks though. :nono:

    power streering

bubbles = air in system. Make sure your PS level in reservoir is at the MAX. then proceed to start the car and turn steering slowly from one extreme lock to the next as decribed in the TSRM.

NA MKIII Supra or NA FC RX7?

Only ignorant people say Rotaries will be on their 3rd motor at 188K. I owned a FC 13B car for several years and I never once had an engine problem. Ignorant people refuse to understand that 13B's burn 1qt of oil per 500 miles. So a typical person who thinks they are simply gonna change...

Ignition Ring light never turns off?! huh?!

So I searched numerous key words this afternoon, but I'm still boggled. Upon fixing my overhead lights, I'm sitting in the car today, and I'm waiting for my wife to pull her car out of the driveway for me to pull the MK3 in. I shut the car off and the ignition ring stays lit. So I say OK...

5spd Shifter hardware on tranny tunnel

I was looking at this picture as I was completing my swap. Is there no metal washer type bracket/plate that fits over that large rubber boot (3355G Boot) that bolts to the tranny tunnel? I would imagine there is. I cant see the 4 bolts holding that boot in place without leaks. Thanx

    No reverse lights

I hope Im not hijacking..... but I am doing my manual swap and I was wondering where the splicing takes place? I know we have to run the blue wire from the neutral switch harness plug to the reverse switch (red wire) is that done on the ECU side or tranny side or is it just a jumper splice...

Progressive Power Steering or Alternative? - need to replace rack

Well Looking at SR-61 and SR-76 it looks like the PPS rack has a huge pressure control valve bolted to control valve housing that has a sensor. any real world pics of one or the other?

Progressive Power Steering or Alternative? - need to replace rack

So I have found quite the leaking passenger boot on the steering rack, while I have been removing things during my manual tranny swap. I am prepared to purchase a rebuilt steering rack, I just need to know what is the difference between Progressive Power Steering and (non progressive)...

Need thread diameter/pitch of heater union pipe

How about you take the union itself to the machinist and have him measure it? most machinists have the correct gauges to measure thread pitch and diameter.

    power streering

Check to see if you are getting air bubbles in your PS resevoir. When I changed my PS pump and steering rack on my MK4 it took a good week or two for the system to get back to normal with no bubbles and smooth steering. make sure the PS resevoir doesnt fall below the minimum marker too, or you...
