yeah no more vocab! lol my problem is iam rebuilding my motor and i need my crank to be reground because i spun a berring. so would it be cheaper to buy a new crank then you get crank pistons and rods and everything balanced?

so i already have the 6m crank? its a 88.

yeah no impact at our shop would touch my crank bolt it was hold the flywheel and get the breaker bar and a 2ft cheater bar and my full body weight to break it loose. (btw i weigh 300lbs!)

know any good machine shops that would do it?

does the 6m crank change the stroke?

iam wanting to get a lightweight crankshaft for my n/a while iam doing the rebuild, but i havent been able to find any does anyone know of anyone who makes them?

sounds like tps to me. i changed my turbo out a while back and never touched the tps and some how it got screwed up it was jumping from about 500rpm to about 2000rpm and i had to recalibrate it. idk might be your pvc, my case was the tps.

my bad .030 over. no dyno. i got one of those gtech things not sure how accurate they are but it said 183hp and 196tq.

i have a turbo and a n/a. the turbo is stock exepct for exhaust, and my na is bored .30, ross racing pistons, colt cams, ported head,and headers intake and exhaust and the turbo is still faster! no by much but it pulls away from 3rd gear on. there is nothing wrong with the 7mge its a great motor...

well you should resurface the head and block if there outside there tolerances, and as for a rebuild i personally would go for all new rods, pistons, and crank. and all arp hardware, and a good mhg. and if its done correctly you shouldnt have any problems.

you are correct. it is pointless to put the 440's in a stock na i was just stating if he did he would have to get a fpr.
