nah, thought that too the first time I saw it... Actually, they are stock rx7 rims! he throws them on when he drifts... he's got a massive stack of 16" tires at his place... very handy :)

Yup, they will be temporary untill I pull some cash together to get some 5zigen fno1r-c and some fat tires (17x8 front 17x9.5 rear 255/275 rubber)... The 245 tires should be okay for now, even look wise they will look better than 225's, untill I break 300rwhp, which I intend to do.. but...

Well a friend of mine with an rx7 (not the 350 swapped one), will be selling his rims in a month or two... This picture doesn't really show how good they actually look in person, but they look brand new. And are a nice gunmetal metallic colour, and the lip is brightly polished. They are 17x7.5...

The reason why he swapped the 350 into his rx7 is because the 50k KM factory refurb engine took a dump... the cost of swapping in (including the price of the motor and trans, and all performance parts) ended up costing as much as it would have been to rebuild that little rotory.... It was an NA...

the ic blockoff plate goes between the the front bumper and the rad support, right overtop of the intercooler... it helps air flow through the front of the car better by not letting it escape before the rad.

A good friend of mine swapped a 350 into is 88 rx7... It's pretty badass.. ordered a kit online for an engine cradle, hearders, driveshaft an misc brackets that he needed for $900..... he's got all the standard 350 jazz on it like a 650cfm carter carb edelbrock (sp?) intake manifold etc etc, and...

I love how they label the ashtray as a cupholder... yup, cheap looking stickers.
