Before you all get your hand polishers out you might wanna find out from a local chrome shop or wheel shop just what it costs to have the stock wheels polished to a mirror finish. I know that if you have them chromed which looked awesome in the pics, they usually polish the rims to a mirror...
One great way to get them clean is if you have access to a large UltraSonic Cleaner, using the right soap it'll jiggle everything loose, then a good rinse with DI water and your spot free too. I have been looking for a large one for a while, gonna keep looking cause them things aint cheap.
Here's a link to Goodyears tire chart and it shows their Approved rim widths for specific tire sizes, it can get you in the ballpark. Myself I prefer a tread width about the same as my rim width that gives you less sidewall exposure to the road surface and keeps your rims from scrapping against...
Discount tires will usually match tirerack.com's prices at least mine does here where I live they do include the fedex charge when quoting though which still beats the hell out of the discount tire price if I just walk in and say I want those tires, how much. I run Goodyears, always have and...
This Video shows how to remove rust using Arm&Hammer Sodium Carbonate, and a 12V Battery Charger. They show it took two days to remove some heavy buildup on an Steel A-Arm. Also you need to "USE GOOD VENTILATION".
Aaron, thanks for that info, I always wondered if they figured out a way to stop the chunks from being introduced into the combustion chamber where they used to get lodged in between the piston and cylinder wall and do some nice permanent damage on old school vehicles.
Aaron does the EGR on a Supra let the chunks of carbon from the exhaust system right into the intake system like they ones on old school cars do? Or have they figured out a way to keep the chunks out and just let the gasses into the intake?
I'd love to have Vitiloni Baby Tornados, nice veiws, tinted glass, black falg style, but they are hard to come by now. I'd use nutserts to install them on the door just below the current mirror position, but on the Supra I'm not sure what the little black plastic tri-angle plate the stock mirror...
Gixxer now thats the kind of Toyota life I expect from my experience with Toyota owning family and friends back in the day. So far my Supra is showing 182k, I got around 50k on my Supra with the first engine, now I've got about 5k on my ebay jdm motor. It's running great, a little leak on the...
Okay Jbud I get to choose what oil I run. Now on to attacking people of a difference of opinion than yours. Please just educate people and leave those attacks at home. Jet jock was certainly attacking my beliefs when he stated I was oblivious, You just attacked me with your childish comment of...
Jet Jock you’re pretty smart person to be lowering yourself to insulting people you don't agree with. In my post I stated there are many scientific reports on the internet showing scientific data showing both opinions. Now I am the first to admit I have never participated in any of these studies...
How stupid of me I forgot to define "Working fine" more than once, lemme try it again.

I prefer the Optima’s for two reasons, One since they don't outgas they don't corrode your battery terminals. The second is I had my first red top in my 68 Charger for two years, when...
Well I just gotta say I don't have anything special when it comes to my battery charger 6V-12V, Slow charge and fast charge. So I'm here to say in my case that myth is busted. I have not only charged my two optimas many times from as dead as lights can run them, but some of those times I just...
I prefer the Optima’s for two reasons, One since they don't outgas they don't corrode your battery terminals. The second is I had my first red top in my 68 Charger for two years, when I sold that I put in my 94 Dodge van where it's worked perfectly for five years, that’s seven years...
I should have put 20w/50w during the winter and 40w during summer. It's a combination of viscosity’s I've chosen after much research and experience with my driving style and so cal weather. The key to any viscosity is proper warm up. I always let my cars warm up before driving off and...
