It's a seperate piece that attache to the head just under the CPS, I believe.

But seriously, if the car doesn't run you're pretty limited on what you can do.
1) tow the car to a shop that can hook a vacuum up the the AC lines and pull it all out.
2) find someone w/ a portable...
^ Keep your doors from rattling when you drive... Keeps them pushed out away from the body.

So I guess you don't NEED them, but if you can get them the 2 screws are E-Z to get to.
