Heres a great tip, Anytime your going to paint, work in grease or most anything else thats gets your hands and arms covered, before you do spray them down with WD-40, after your done everything just washes right off with soap and water.

    max stock tire size?

I have not had to rotate the tires once, last set went all the way with no rotation. BUT I learned years ago, at $150.00 a tire, burning expensive rubber off your tires just dont make sense.

    max stock tire size?

I run stock painted sawblades with Goodyear F1 G3's 245/50-16 on all four corners set psi at 36, and I think they are absolutely awesome. I dont feel the sidewall flex is issue with my setup. I have ST sways bar front and rear with poly busings. Stock ride height. Stock awesome working TEMS so I...

    Weight loss

Hardtop here also, and you know I actually bought this car because it was heavey, (safe in T bones, rear ends, and head ons), rear wheel drive, and an inline twin overhead cam 6, so if you think it isn't fast enough in stock trim, make more horepower, I would not cheapen the awesome luxury and...

    High heat paint?

If you dont mind a gray nickle like color, just for fun, clean a small area on your manifold, coat it with nickle anti-seize, drive it around till the oils burn out and you'll see a nice nickle coated area that wont corrode now.

    Distributor Cap Question

Does anyone have, use, or know if they even make a Distributor cap with a vent? Mine does not have one and it seems with the condensation here by the coast I get allot of moisture in the cap which seems to cause arching then the caps material seems to degrade causing even more. It doesn’t happen...

    good tires

I also NEVER cheap out on tires and have run Goodyear’s on everything car I've owned since I was 19. I’m currently also Running F1 G3's. I think many here are in denial when it comes to tires; they go all out on everything then go cheap on tires. I always go to Tirerack and read reviews before I...

    radiator protection?

One way to do it is make a nice sturdy frame that fits in front of anything with cooling fins and cut a pc of stainless steel screen to fit it and use silicone sealer to bond the screen to the frame. That way you can on occasion remove the screen and clean it keeping all the fins clear of road...

    Foglight bulb suggestions

Johnathan, have you driven with the yellow bulbs in rain or fog yet?, I have used the 55w ers in all my fog lights over the years and thats where they really come alive since yellow light passes through water droplets unlike white light which bounces around the inside of them before exiting.

    Foglight bulb suggestions

What is the part number for the Hellas? and a close cost estimate? Thanks

    Foglight bulb suggestions

You cant just install higher wattage bulbs. I believe 55w bulbs are what the wiring and fuse system were desgined for. If you want to run higher wattage bulbs in stock lights of any kind keep in mind the Heat they generate may melt things, the power they draw may blow fuses and toast wires.

Lowering the MkIII, but keeping stock feel

Dang 51psi aint right, thats the Maximum Air Pressure of each tire IF the tire were to have the Maximum Weight on it. For instance if you added together the Maximum Weight all four tires could hold if they had 51 psi you might find that at that air pressure all four tires could hold up 8,000...
