^ Glad you didn't say both, because I've been barking up that tree for a LONG time and I still got nothin!
I'll post some updated pics tonight. Just promise not to flame the lack of 'put-back-together-ness' :icon_bigg
Anyone have any big builds going on this winter? Anything top secret? Anything interesting? Need some help but are too afraid to ask for it?
I just think it'd be cool to know what everyone is doingt his winter so incase I, or someone else, was planning on doing it we could swing by, help...
Old thread...
I'd probably hit it up. Would probably be myself in the 82 and one of my buddies driving my mkIII.
Rumptis may go if I do, probably jeff, Maybe MDC.
Make it in Indy or somewhere closer and more of us would show up because all the other Supra owners ARE BROKE ASSES and...
^ What he said
I'd trade you an auto harness/ecu (89T) for a 5sp harness/ecu (and I'd be interested in the parts for the swap, but mostly just the harness/ecu)
You'd also need the front half of the driveshaft, a shifter, linkage, trans fluid lines to the rad, an auto rad or a trans cooler...
Helped or not, my RabidChimp intake looks a helluva lot better than the stock black plastic crapp. :icon_bigg
I didn't notice a difference in sound... but it's kinda hard to hear over the new DT header that I put on at the same time. As far as performance enhancement, it gave me a...
The car is technically for her (which is why it remained an Auto) so I'd atleast like to make it so she could drive it if/when she ever decided to.

I'd LIKE to have a 12.95 or faster car. :icon_bigg Just so I can be cool like my bro and his Mustang.
BUT I also want it to handle good, as close to my mkII as possible. Basically a quick car that fun in the curves, yet I could let my GF and her friends take it out and not worry about...
Is your throttle linkage letting the TB close all the way? That's the easiest to check, just see if you can push it closed any further.

I just got my 89T going and was wondering if there was a way that I could do my upgrades and not have something become obsolete after another upgrade.... I.E. I don't want to get IC hardpipes when I wont be able to use them w/ an upgrades IC or turbo.
Things I'm looking into now are...
Sorry, just reading through all of this... Any update?
From the sound of things you've taken a LOT of hard routes to check something easy. But it sounds like you've learned a lot doing it so it all evened out.
Advance/Autozone/ wherever SHOULD have some sort of Alternator tester that you...
