*sigh* I found it... nothing impressive at all... The plastic hose coming up from the IC is cracked (and the timing was still at TDC) Taped the crack *band-aid, I know* and adjusted the timing, it's actually running fine now. Wierd a tiny little crack will F up your world for a few days...
