Here's a video of the noise!

It was a hot drive home so i was able to duplicate it parked. Couple hours later when it cooled down, wasn't able to do it much.
While we were able to duplicate the clank parked and just turning the wheel, we had the car jacked up and loaded up the left front with a jack to the tire. The noise was not there. Then when we put the car down and it wouldn't do it at all.
Right. This sounds like the same sound.
I've done a little reading around as well and at this point I'm thinking Left inner tie rod, or the steering rack, or the steering rack bushings.
I guess i should try to pull the boot back and check if i can see the snapping play in the inner tie rod. Why...
hey yianni, what's up? the car's been through countless hours of work and plenty of parts ..and there is still much more to do. There have been a whole bunch of ups and downs, but I'm still enjoying the supra. I was running the 57trim at 15psi untuned. It was fun but i never got to make it to...
I had the car on the lift and i had a prybar flexing the sway bar bushings, the endlinks, subframe bushings, control arm bushings..Nothing found. Lower ball joint didn't seem to have excessive play, but still a possibility i presume.
Word thanks, yeah it could be a bushing.
OK Yes, i have...
So I've been chasing this intermittent front end noise for a while now. Now that it's summer time, it's worse than ever.
I was able to duplicate the noise today at a standstill.
Here are the conditions of my noise concern.
-Car must be driven and be warm or hot.
-When the car is cold, or the...
PICTURE UPDATE!
I took the turbo apart and took these pictures a while ago.. i haven't had time for anything lately, so i'm posting it now.
This is what caught my eye. It looks like long term wear. Hmm
And also, i put my stock CT on my car. Put about 30 miles on it...
The guy that sold me the car had the turbo on it. It's got like 12K on it, but i don't think i can claim any warranty here.
Do I just take the center nut off? How would i do that with the compressor wheel broken off, hah
OK So,
-Removed the old turbo. took it apart some, although i don't know if you can see anything there.
-Removed the charge pipes from the turbo to the intercooler. Found a little bit of turbo debris there.
-Removed the intercooler, tilted towards the hot side, spilled out a bunch of...
That looks like a nice upgrade. But I don't really need a turbo capable to 680 CHP. Anything like that, just a little smaller on the turbo and the price would be nice ;)
I'm would suspecting a balancing problem, or a lack of oil pressure problem. I can check the oil pressure feed when i...
I'll definitely consider running a different bov when i get a new turbo, but i figured if my condition is normal and others experience the same normal operation phenomenon then it would be just fine. I like my recirculated ssqv setup, i figured this bov should be trusted since its used in a...
