Hey guys iam not in Alabama but you guys seem more fun then the tenn guys lol i drive a 90 targa 1jz car its stock for now, you guys have very many get togethers? Id like to get to know somemore supra guys and noone in tenn seems to ever get a meet going.

Hey i dont technically live in georgia but the state lines about a mile from my house lol. iam about hour and a half away from atl and tennessee never has any meets. Are there any in georgia sometime soon? oh and my car is a 1990 targa 1jz car, its the one in my sig.

How much would a complete kit like that cost?

No your not understanding what iam saying... a stock 1jz has more tq and more hp than a STOCK 7m does. plain and simple just look up the numbers. You can def get more power out of your 7m for cheaper but the whole point of this thread was realiabilty. and 7m with the same power as a stock 1j...

I DD mine year around, dont get snow here in chatt thank god i dont know how you northerns do that crap, and i drive the celica when i run out of gas moneys for the supra lol. i drive way to much.

Its pretty easy to justify a jz swap, for reliability you cant beat have a stock motor, anything you do to make a motor faster makes it less reliable, so why not put a motor with over 60 more hp even if its more smaller in size. i my opinion my stock 1j has more torque than my stock 7m.

I personally dont ever plan on owning another 7m car but who knows, for the person on a budget and still wants something quick like me i went the 1j route, but if you have the money to build a 7m rite they can be just as reliable and powerfull as any 1j.

Yeah iam on Streetcarforums alot theres alot of import guys in knox quite a few members on here are in the knox section quite a bit.

Damn that thing looks good man, the more white supra's i see the more iam leaning toward white to paint mine.

sorry took so long to reply, but its a whole nother car, i sold that burgandy n/a i had. wish i didnt miss that thing like crazy but oh well. btw the celica's still doing good just drove it down to florida over christmas.
