X2 I think any other conversion is ugly! if i were ever going to spend the time and money the only conversion that looks good even at all would be the soapra.
Hell you still had plenty! my buddies 93 rx7 will do 145 in 4th gear, he hit 160 with me in it and it still had some plenty left, i think they'll do like 183. ive personally only hit 125 in my 1j but that all she'll do with that damn speed limiter!
Keros- you know that a 3rz is not a diesel right? and iam have problems with the camera uploading the vid, now this 3rz is nowere near being done tuned, its only been running few weeks and they dont yet have a clutch to hold the power. but in the next few days ill post a vid of it running and...
Your right a tiny turbo on a 3rz would put out 30psi and hold it thats why you compound two turbos. Right now with the stock cams it has it goes stong to 6k, btw there using a t/4 and a gt-45, so not really a tiny turbo. a 3rz is a 2.7 so its got noproblems spooling both turbos. your right iam...
I have to totally disagree with you on this, you can recompress air to make it much denser. if not how can you run 7psi on the first turbo feed it to the second turbo which is also being wastegated to 7psi and see 30 psi at the manifold? like ive said my buddy has a tacoma with the 3rz with a...
nope no wideband.
13 not too bad obviously you like it do be less but your not going to blow a motor at 13a/f. I have no idea what my a/f looks like, no wideband here.
Yeah, i dont think it'll blow, i just always thought stock was 11, and supracentral said in my other thread that its 7, not sure if he's confused with the 7m? cause if its 7 and iam running 14 on stock fuel pressure that shit aint good.
So ive been under the impression that the stock boost on a 1j is 11psi~ so i need to know iam i wrong cause if its like say around 7-8psi iam running super lean! and need to do something before i drive it hard anymore. cause iam running like 14-15psi right now cause iam having boost spike...
The compound setup is the best there is, but its almost pointless on a gasoline motor, the problems with the setup is its complecated and on a gas motor your always going to be trying to keep the boost down. if your running 7psi on both turbos you'll be seeing over 30psi, which on a gas motor is...
I thought stock boost was 11-12. thats what it runs on a warm day, no shimmed wastegate, no boost controller nothing its all stock except for the exhaust.
iam running stock boost, but it only does stock boost when its hot out, when its in the 40's and 50's iam hitting like 14, and colder it does 15+ and cuts out. how would a boost leak make me run more boost?
Does anyone have a problem with boost cut when its cold out? right now during the day its fine but at night when it gets colder it hits boost cut. my mods are 3in dp and blitz cat back.
