Got a new OEM toyota cap, and after about 60-70 miles worth of driving the car acts funny, i shut it off at a gas station and i could hear the coolant pressure pushing out of the radiator into the overflow and its somewhat bubbly not oil colored though, i also did notice i keep having...
i also noticed after getting a oem toyota radiator cap, after driving 60 miles my coolant reservoir is filled more than the full level and the hose still spews out more coolant into the tank and its kinda bubbly which was never like this before, any ideas?
coolant is filled already, no more gurgling dash sounds, i got a laser temp reader and heater core inlet/outlet hose temps are the same around 190 degrees give or take, intermittently the heater would work i hear the servo door moving inside the dash and heater blows fine, AND i also noticed...
i have a 1988 n/a, but i believe they share the same switch, got a pic? i am just on a tight tight budget right now and i cannot afford to spend on expensive parts hah
it says online its a EGR time delay switch, some google sources call it the cold start injector switch, the sensor thingy on the water neck it has the brownish plug on it, facing directly upwards, thanks
well thanks i guess lol, but if anyone knows what other model toyota has the same sensor i can use i can try to find tomorrow at the scrap yard it will help alot, thanks
ouch, they are already asking me $140 for the part and its special order, does anybody know what other toyota vehicles share the same sensor i could possibly pull from the scrap yard?
anybody know of a place besides the dealership where i can get these? i couldnt find them anywhere online and the part search for stores isnt showing them up... i need it asap too, please let me knoww
On the water neck housing of the 7m-ge theres a sensor on the top with 2-wires leading off it, it has a brown-ish colored terminal and connector on the switch itself, what is this sensor called? let me know asap thank you!!
so basically i think i have a bad cap then? yesterday after a long road trip i shut the car off and opened the hood, there was a slight hissing noise coming from the radiator cap area, and when i pressed down on the cap (yes it was hot) the hissing stopped and reappeared after i let go...
