    pics of a grey supra

Nope that's the factory 19 year old paint. Only sign of wear is on the hood (looks like somebody took a 3m pad to it and etched it)... I'm getting the whole car repainted hopefully by next year.

    correct hella housing?

what? if they are e-codes they are dot approved huh.... that makes no sense.. See that e1 on the glass... that means the are ece headlights (aka e-codes).. So yes, those would be the right housings. Hella only made 2 h4 housings.. dot approved ones (vision plus I think) and the e-codes...

    Post your Pre-89 bumper thread

There are a couple minor imperfections in various panels that I want fixed anyways, I could leave them, but I know they are there. Besides, I would like to actually go a few shades darker, maybe add some pearl into the paint.

    Taillight conversion complete!!!! (With pics)

or go ahead and replace all the crappy pre89 trim with nice shiny 89+ trim so it matches the tails center section... but that's just me. Swapping from pre89 to 89+ tails is fairly simple.. just two holes need to be drilled, then you just bolt them on.. took me about half hour my first time...

    turbo

last price i heard for a brand new ct26 is in the 2,000 dollar range... better off spending 1600 on a supra sport boss turbo that supports upwards of 600... (all depends on your supporting mods and how your motor was built)

    Is it possible?

well my plans fall right in between what the composite gaskets can handle and the need for forged internals.... My plan is to run a boss ss turbo, with supporting mods, and be in the range of 400-450. I was just curious if it was possible, if not I'll run it until the hg pops then tear it down...

How long do you idle for?

under 2 grand? how? even with my n/a gears being at like 1,000rpm in 3rd would be a lot of load on the engine for it being cold (or any time at all).

How long do you idle for?

I usually start it up, let oil pressure rise... then drive off keeping it between 2500-3000rpm shifting normally, no heavy gas or anything.. I don't get on it untill I see the temp at around 180-190f and the oil pressure sitting where it should be at operating temps (2kg/cm2 at 2,000rpm).. I...

is it leaking around the water pump or is it leaking from one of the weep holes on the water pump... if it's one of the week holes, you may aswell just replace the waterpump.

    Is it possible?

hm, I was just curious if I would be able to... Hmm, the motor has 10,000km on it, block was decked and lapped but a non metal headgasket was used instead... I read that cometic gaskets are ok to use with the an ra of 50, wich is what the stock spec is for the block. I just think it would be a...

    Is it possible?

Out of curiosity, is it possible to lap the block for a mhg to the right RA without tearing down the motor completely?
