ah thanks.. actually its a bare block with no internals so it would seem i need to get a hold of one of the timing covers then. and i do plan on going to the machine shop again as it seems the standard probe pistons are slightly oversized. i just wanted to do everything in one shot when i go...
well im in the middle of a build and had the block decked but later i read the rebuild tip thread and saw that the rear timing cover needs to be decked with the block but then i think i read the front timing cover needs to be on. i guess im asking which one is it? and i am very new to supras is...
I highly do not recommend you doing what i did, but i have an engine build going on now. so i did not really care too much about the engine in the car. but i could tell you my head DEFINITELY needed to be resurfaced there was gouges in it and everything...(looked like P/O milled it with a belt...
i popped a turbo coolant line and feared BHG but then after looking i saw it...thank God cause i just replaced the HG though i didnt do any prep work... also used the stock bolts lol... im pushing my luck but it doesnt matter as i am rebuilding an engine.. i just wanted something to get me around.
i had bhg without oily coolant but yeah do the radiator and other small things first before the hg or be like me and do it all at once while youre at it and not have to worry
ask him for a scan of his picture id with the credit card to verify its him? unless he happend to find a lost wallet...then that might not work...hmm yeah i guess getting the cc number and calling the bank is best decision..
lmao that was hilarious last guy looked like the one that knew what he was doing...or atleast how to shoot one. lol i know i would get knocked flat on my ass most likely.
i had a bhg and just got a new oem gasket and re used the stock bolts and torqued down to 72 lbs... no machining of anything and i did it for the cost of the gasket i think it was 90 or something like that maybe? i dunno but its been going strong ever since then... however i am in the process of...
i call mine Sally because i call it a poopra instead of a supra... and my aunts name is saleena or sally for short and her nickname is poop so i figured id call my car Sally. *shrugs* i dunno.
verizon is by far the best company that i have ever dealt with. and they take pretty good care of me whenever something breaks or whatever. theyre just as good as they are expensive.
are verizon and us celluar the only phone companys out there? maybe check with sprint theyre decent and Tmobile has some pretty good deals, last time i checked.
not sure about us celluar but verizon is a bit on the expensive side. for 2 people at minimum minutes for family plan and with text message (unlimited vzw to vzw) for 10 bucks each line i pay around $104 a month however i get 700 minutes. and now that i work at walmart i get a 20% discount off...
hate to say it but if you changed the tstat the radiator and the waterpump i would assume its a BHG but could possibly just be a lot of air in the system after changing everything and not burping... but what do i know. try burping it and if thats no good then do a compression check. more details...
always have a gallon of water as well just incase lol. and some duct tape. i popped a coolant hose the other day and saw smoke comin from under the hood and the temp started to rise i was like SHIT!!! another bhg!?!? but then i saw the big hole in the hose. luckily i work at walmart so after...
