Most rock is gay. hay let's get some Nickleback CD's guyz! Seriously though, I listen to All Shall Perish, August Burns Red, Bring Me The Horizon, Whitechapel, I Killed The Prom Queen etc. Rock is pretty good, it just depends on who the bands are.
Bump: It's all about metal. It's the only thing that'll keep me motivated, give me energy, and keep me focused. Not girly stuff like Lamb of God (although they're really good), I mean real metal like Whitechapel.
Ohhh ok, got it. Yeah, I'm buying the VC gaskets from my local parts store (set of two) and then they have to order the grommets seperately. Thanks for the suggestions.
Some people say to use some kind of sealant when upgrading the VC screws... yes or no, and what kind of sealant are they...
My God, I'm so sorry. I hope you get reimbursed for your losses and that those thieves are in custody. Are you planning on repairing it or getting a new car?
I just found out that the exhaust side is leaking oil on to the manifold.:3d_frown: Engine bay smoke FTL. What other things/gaskets usually become a problem in that area? I'm gonna grab some MSD wires and NGK Iridiums for a tune-up, but I just want to see what else I should probably replace...
cliff notes:
-does running open downpipe positively affect performance?
-can it damage the turbo?
-can it damage the pistons?
sorry, just didn't want anyone else to have to read that whole paragraph to get those few questions out of it. as for an answer to your questions, i don't...
go look at cuel's link and then go look under "intake" in the parts reviews. no one really likes the two options you listed. go with apex'i or another dry flow filter. oiled filters screw your MAF really badly, apparently.
unless the wires are too short and won't reach the new mounting spot, i don't see why you'd need to replace the o2 sensor just cause you're getting a new downpipe... is the o2 flange on the new DP in basically the stock location or is it farther down the exhaust stream?
that car's so sick, it's stupid. way to be. i've never been into 240z's but yours definitely changed my opinion. wheel spin at 70+ mph? never in my life. i can't even imagine.
a little too flashy for me. i.e. too ricy and too many curves. the rear half of the car got slaughtered by the Eiffel Tower wing and the bumper.:3d_frown:
get a lightweight flywheel and driveshaft too, while your engine's still out of the car and stuff. carbon fiber hood would be pretty cool and that'd lighten it up a bit, too. my hood feels like it weighs a good 40 lbs.:3d_frown:
