So mine shows G305 so that is showing 8", 3.727 ratio, 4 piston LSD.
G=8" ('86.5-'92 A7 chassis)
30=3.727
5=4 Pinions LSD
LOL this is the first time I have ever checked it.
You need to read better. I said 1/4" npt (pipe thread). That is a tap size for fittings that has a inside diameter of 7/16" and a 3/8" nipple at the other end. And 3/8 hose to lead to the vacuum block, witch to have it right needs a 1/4"npt tapped size hole.
Understand?
Also I disagree...
If you have limited experance with the 7M why are you posting? I'm not pointing fingers at you or calling you out but we are talking about the 7M here not some other engine here.
Well I have plenty of experience with the 7M and this way works good. Again the main thing is to have a larger...
I thought of doing that but I didn't want to risk it, and know the original ones lasted 15+ years and this is (in my eyes) the correct way of do it. Plus I don't want a Home Depot car. But thank you for the idea, I always welcome them :thumbup:
Are you sure no one else is running one vacuum port???? BTW I am for all other functions besides the brake booster and it is awesome. There is no problems, easier to route lines, easier to hook up aftermarket parts that need vac./boost. Plus it is easy to check for vacuum leaks. But I also...
Parts update. Put pic. on post 9
Well the M.C. shift bushing finally showed up after almost 3 weeks:aigo:. Picked up some new tail light gaskets from toyota, I hope these will solve the water in the spair tire well area problem. They are going to be a PITA to install, because when I put the...
You could but I never have drilled and tapped a OEM intake manifold. Plus hand tapping NPT with out a mill I find to be pain in the ass. But to do it you will need to remove the intake first , then get the correct size drill bit(7/16", .4375"), with a 1/4 npt tap, and correct tap handle...
yes it would work, but again I am a fan of having a larger supply, and not having it it the same as the ports. From the pic. Jack has posted on SS, Beech's looks to be all the same size.
Use a vacuum block with its own 3/8" feed connection and 5 or so 1/8" nipples coming out of it.
If you have access to a mill, drill, and taps you can make your own Like I did, or buy one online somewhere.
Sorry Need to vent.
I am sick of mail order places fucking up. First M.C. with the shifter bushings. Almost 3+weeks to ship and receive( and still not received) 2 stupid, simple bushings!! Put them in a padded envelope, put $1.50 worth of stamps on it and put it in the mail box. WTF is...

Luke if you can try and make it to the Kaliedoscope Car Show in St. Cloud on May 30th. There will be around 5-6 MKIII there plus plenty of ricers to make fun of.
