I think Im just going to save and fix my lude now. Ill do as my sig says and buy a Supra with what I make from sellin the lude. I've been thinking about it all day and unless I was doing a complete restore its too much, then I could still find a cheaper shell in better condition.
i feel you, I just need something now. A friend and I are goin half on it, Its basically something to drive until my lude is fixed and sold, plus, its like 4 and a half hours away. I'm gonna start talkin her down tomorrow.
Im loooking at buying this 87 NA. A lil over 200K on the clock, yall think its worth $700?
Problems, Timing of a tooth or three, causing a slight backfiring at idle.
Cat was clogged, but seller is cleaning it out for me
Obvious cosmetic problems:
I wonder if you can wire it up to turn on the lights, in low light situations. You would have to have a delay or something so they arent poppin up and down with like long shadows and such(i.e., Tractor trailer cast shadow on car on highway) Has anyone ever thought of this?
One day I will own all those, well most of the vehicles pictured. Sadly even when my Supra is where I want it to be it won't command the repect of the Enzo/CGT/SLR, until it smokes them, and maybe not even then.
North Carolina, woot woot. I wanted to do that when I first had visions of my carclub. I want a 2JZ TT Tundra(bigger) but not that outrageous, I want it to be able to tow a trailer, and carry stuff. And smoke cars doin it.
they still made there torque at a lil over 3000rpm so metal or no, its still fast. It was only a few ticks(.x sec.) of the TT Supra time to 60 and in 1/4 mile. Even tho the 0-60 time is solwer you gotta look at ground covered, its got a low trap speed.
