From the threads I've seen on sf in regards to the GTX turbos, you're wasting your money buying them. They aren't any better than the "regular" turbos unless you're going to try and push 30+ psi all the time.
H&K stuff is expensive because there's a lot of fanboys, the USP is a nice gun, but it's not worth hundreds of dollars more than an older Sig or FN .45.
You take out the old liquid and then refill it with new liquid...
That way you don't have to bleed all the stuff out of the MC as well, seems pretty obvious
Obviously having a RHD car would be a big pain in the ass for a lot of drive through related things. I guess that's the price you pay for being so JDM cool.
I haven’t been on in a while but seeing as you’re still trying to lecture me on this…
At no point did I say that you were perfect or otherwise, my comment in regards to your track record was to only say that I am reading and I am “learning” from it. The comment...
At what point did I even bring up searching? My comment was questioning the OP's statement, it had nothing to do with searching.
I know that you were called out for posting about the very thing you're accusing me of, so I'm well aware that it isn't an effective tool.
If I remember correctly, I was told that the 3200lb PP with the 6-puck would hold about 650hp. Since you're running the full face disc it would probably be a bit lower.
You're either lying or you're looking at the wrong sections, the question you asked seems to come up every week now and the following questions are very easily found reading.
The HKS DLI just sends more power to the coils, it's more of a bandaid fix than anything. The ignition change fixes the issue. It's only an issue on the V1 AEM.
I believe that ACT makes a 6 puck clutch that is sprung. Probably the best you're going to get with a single disc setup. I'm assuming you're going to be using the ACT extreme PP or whatever it's called?
Well regardless, nobody is expecting the gun to go off when you flip the safety so better to be sure.
When it was still in the reciever, the buffer in mine looked solid, but in the process of pulling it out it went to pieces.
How much did it cost you?
Be aware that it has the older "lever style" safety (which is why you may have gotten it for a good deal). The safety can fail which will result in the gun firing when you switch it to "fire", if I remember correctly. You should also look into getting a replacement...
Well maybe superior was too strong a word, but I don't think it is step back when compared to wastefire.
I should have pointed out that the V88 does have the ability to run the superior sequential injection setup.
Regardless, the V88 can do both sequential ignition and injection on a...
That you're not taxing the coils? Most people who use AEM (wasted spark setup) say that you have to have the HKS DLI since otherwise you get spark blow out at higher rpm. I'm not sure about the 7m coils having the same issue, but that's the case for the 2jz.
With the wasted spark setup, the...
The most significant difference between the two is whether you're ok with a wasted spark setup (V44) or you want a superior sequential fire setup (V88). The V88 also has DBW controls, but you're probably not going to need that.
I believe he was referring to Vipec and AEM v2, anything with the word Motec on it means the price is at least doubled.
Vipec isn't very new it's been out for at least about 2 years? and it was basically Autronic before that. They have plug and play kits for newer cars (including the 2jz) but...
If you don't go with the Raptor or becausican setup, the HKS dragger is a relatively quite and nice sounding exhaust, the blitz is considerably louder.
