Where do I run the vacuum lines from the charcoal canister to the motor if I were to keep the charcoal canister? It should be kept to avoid fuel pump cavitation, correct? This is all for a 1988 Canadian spec mk3 with a 1992 Aristo 2JZGTE Thanks for any help!

The pan, and rear main bearing casing were off, it's all clean.

Tried many different ideas to remove the bolt. I had drilled through the middle and wound up using a chisel to crack the remaining bolt into pieces which fell right out. And the best part is, I was wrong about the threads, the crank is fine. Just be patient and keep trying, that's what I learned.

Pictures of engine bay repaint, it'll match the outside once the outside is professionally repainted black. New engine for gf's maverick!

The HeliCoil seems to be my best bet. Any more info on these? What size Helicoil do I need to correct this and reuse the stock m10x1.25 bolt? Will I need to drill the opposite bolt hole on the crank, and insert another Helicoil to balance it?

Broke a flywheel to crankshaft bolt, tried drilling and Easy-Outing it out, no good. Threads are likely damaged. What is the best course of action? Can I drill and retap the hole to M12x1.25 instead of the M10x1.25, as long as I keep the bolt grade 8 (and do the same on the opposite side to keep...

Picked up a whole different motor, checked compression before I bought it (look, I'm learning!) 160 across the board! Going to pull the bad one, insert good one, and rebuild bad one. I'm very excited to get working on this.

Picked up a new supra! Something to drive while I fix the '88. New one is a '91 twin turbo-R, no rust, no dents, no scrapes, 120k kms! Still has stock engine undercover and stock brake ducts. Back to the '88. 2JZ head removed, and that's about all the progress with that at the moment.

Any other info about it?

The twin turbo r was available only in japan and only with the 1jzgte, correct? Any opinion about wether $4500 is a good deal for a solid 91 tt-r with 120k kms?
