I had the exact same problem. It was the plug wiring to my CPS, I replaced the plugs and never had another problem.
Mine would also cut out a very low speeds and then not start again until I waited, or unknowingly bumped the plug while poking around under the hood.
Check it out, hope it...
On second look I kinda like it now, I think it's diameter made it look small and outa place at first. Was it hard to get used to the change? Where are your cruise control button that are usually on the wheel?
Wow really nice interior dude, I love the stitching also.
But somehow that steering wheel looks out place to me. Maybe it's the pics or just the fact that it's a right hand drive. It somehow doesn't look like it belongs though somehow.
I also was stunned the first time I took my drivers seat out, freaking heavy beast.
What kinda seats are those, I like em because they still look fairly normal and not out place. Price range?
Glad I live in Canada, more specifically alberta, we don't really even have enforced emissions laws for private vehicles. Our junksyards will be pick more clean by us visitors however.
I wouldn't go panicing or anything just yet..........Seems like something that would be far to ridiculous to...
On my old 7M setup I had sent my HKS 550cc injectors of to a local shop (Reg Reimers's RCTS) for cleaning, checking etc and every single one of them flowed at 620cc. A substantial bit more then what they are rated for, I got big power for many years and many smiles per mile outa them.
Not...
I finally just removed mine and everything relating to it since I had not used it at all in like 5 years.
It boiled down to this.....If it's so nice I need the A/C I take the roof off, I prefer that anyways. And if it's not nice enough for roof offing then I don't need the A/C.
crap, wish I had read this long ago. I have none of the front window trim and always just had in my mind that I would pop over to my local dealer and buy new ones.
Had no idea they were so pricey.
Hey just noticed from your comment we have a similar interest.
I also have just recently done a retrofit and built my own router table, design was my own including electronics, drivers, controller the works. Steppers, not servos, since I have had zero servo experience.
Currently I am...
My grandfather taught me a trick for getting the easyout out of the bolt. However it may not work in your case due to location/access issues.
What you can do in some cases is get some drain cleaner (or more specifically lye) mix with water in a very high concentration (be careful people, blah...
Well, IMO the mechanic didn't do his job properly....1st he admittedly didn't torque it to spec for whatever crazy reason...age of block, this is a new excuse I've never heard before. He should have also probably re-scheduled you for a check and retorue also but this is not a standard practice...
thats absolutely a blown HG. I believe it is best practice to torque the head initially to above the stated toyota specs as they are now believed to have been low. I also think it's best practic to go back and retorque the head (not sure of timeframe, anyone got good suggestions for this?) after...
I think I read somewhere that it only takes 2% water in your oil to reduce it's ability to lubricate by 50%. So ya, I'd get the oilly milkshake outa there asap. Your overflow tank, was it pumped right to the top?
Your engine is torque'n over pretty good there dude. I would suspect you may have a cracked or broken engine mount. I had the exact same issues and the mounts looked fine but on removal it wasx apparent they were not ok.
I have to agree with the guys above on the damper, the toyota one is the...
I could be wrong here, and please correct me if I am someone with mucho knowledge....
That vacum hose is I believe for engaging the the powersteering when like parking to make your threepoint type like manuvers in tight places more assisted, perhaps by bumping up the idle revs a bit. Omitting...
Yup they are functional, time patience and carefully dremeling them out brought them to life. They helped me seriously big with my underhood temps. Night and day actually improvement wise.
I'm planning on showing my steps for the vents, the spoiler blend and my clear acrylic painted on the...
Ya, thought someone might notice that......
Well I spent a few months last year, from mid Dec, till about mid may gett'n er all niced up, basically a frame up nit pick every detail sorta build and posted my new pics to my facebook profile at about ninish PM, exactly three hours after I...
