Oopps, if I am not mistaken the pre 89 and post 89 mkiii had different mounts.
Not sure if the measurement in question is different or not.

A "friend" of a friend made them and yup I got them on the right side and in the right holes.
I just don't think things are fitting right and wanna be extra careful and double check.
I actually did exactly what you are thinking of here.
I got the lower runners for both the 2j and the 7m, alot of cutting and aluminium welding but you essentially end up with a "adapter" runner of sorts that allows you to bolt any 2j intake up to your 7m head.
I still have that runner...
If possible could someone who has a jz motor with 90 or newer mkIII please measure the distance from the center of the rubber mount bolt to the flat back surface of the block that mates with the tranny. (In my case a 1jz bellhousing with a r154)
I'm suspecting that the custom mounts I had...
Any info anywhere on the engine serial numbers to get interesting information about the motors origins etc? Just for interest sakes?
I'm referring to the little badge on the middle timing belt cover, or are they all the same?
