My 7m has a major rod knock, and im definatly thinking about a 1j. I am looking on ebay, what should i look out for/ ask about, ebay sellers? I will buy one from a company so it will at least seem legit. Will a 1j pass nj emission laws if anybody knows? or even any state laws? i just wanna...

does anybody have experience with these pieces? they are a lot cheaper than the crower rods and i know that eagle H-beams have a good reputation with v8's. But not too sure bout the import stuff. And also has anybody found these cheaper than $480? (suprastore.com). Thanks.

i am having a huge problem with removing my engine, it will not come off of the input shaft i've pried it and shook and everything and it is just so hung up. Does anybody have any tips or ideas for me to use?

someone on another site mentioned that a turbo back exhaust and intake will gain 70hp at the wheels, does anybody have dyno sheets from these mods only?

im sure that the engine was past warm when i went full throttle for about 15 seconds. my temp gauge doesnt work :(

okay i was cruising last night in my 88 turbo and came across an evo. after a pull from mid 4th to 5th, i slowed back down and returned to normal driving speeds. i then went to turn off at a jughandle. and when turning this light came on next to the temp gauge. but it was only when the car...

yeah i've been searching for some time now...i know that the head gasket is a common problem, i can pretty much tell the difference between a nice supra and a junk one. thanks for the reply i'll keep those things in mind.

If everything goes well, i should be in the market for a mkIII within the next month or 2. I'll be looking for a 89-92 turbo, targa, 5spd. I was also looking at 1jz swapped cars. Is there any common problems or anything i should watch out for when searching for my car? Thanks.
