i also painted my valve covers with header paint. sprayed it from a can and baked it. turned out very nice as well. ed.d.

i just got done spraying my friends valve covers with high heat temp paint. the can said it will handle up to 500 degrees. turned out very nice.

my main concern would be the excessive wear on the journals. putting more power/stress on a journal that is already beaten down isnt really a good idea. like IJ said in the begining, its not the worst but its def. up there. ed.d.

you dont need another BOV i had a similar problem with my BOV a while back. i have an HKS SSQV on a 2j with a 70 mill boosting 16 PSI. turns out i just needed a better hose. i much stiffer one. the samco hose that i was using was getting pinched when under vacuum. i got one that is specifically...

most decent paint shops have the oem colors of car companies. find a paint shop and see if they have your color. ed.d.
