Would you think the problem is at the wiring? My only experience with caps going bad is life (dried out) and others with over voltage causing the caps to over heat(caps leaking on the pc board, and since the electrolyte is acidic).
So can you tell me what 2jMKIII you rode in that impress you to say the 1j is weak and maybe this year at SILV07 we can match that 2jMKIII (track and all)?
Nice cars. Check out J's Racing at Chatsworth they got one built to 8sec. and that sucker was spanking the MKIV's all day long at the track at LACR the last meet.

1. where is the crank angle sensor (CAS) or crankshaft position sensor wheel and what type is it (Optical/LED Sensor? Hall Sensor? VR Sensor? mag sensor?)
*Mag sensor/evenly spaced and located at the bottom gear of the timing belt.
Lets see atleast 10 people interested and I'll send the diffuser to get it mold. It will prolly be cheaper since is goin to be made here and not over sea. Pics with the diffuser are on the 1st page already.

It's got 440 injectors right now. I'm waiting for the Mines ecu set for 550 injectors from Japan. Boosting infinite right now...lol...I need to get a manual boost control. At 1.8 bar I'm pin againts my seat and all you hear is a sound of a jet plane....lol. I'm also goin to need a better clutch...
Maybe......I was at Pomona fairplex and stop by at Autobacs. Damn, too many race driver at this area...unbelievable. 3 Evos, 2 Cobras, 2 Subarus, and a Corvette wanted to race...lol.
