VVTi 2jzgte is 50% fly by wire and 50% mechanical. You do need the stock ecu with stock throttle body to work right. I try this with the IS300 VVTi swap we just finished and we ended up going AEM to get rid of the fly by wire once and for all.
Fly by wire will work fine on a mk3 but...
How much better can it get if you can see the video of the clip you are about to install running?(look at link) I'm including a rear sump pan with it and Im going to lower the price to 2600 to the first person that pays tomorrow. Shipping is not included, but I would take it out of the clip for...
I see a lot of engines like that from Japan. we don't import that kind of junk, hell it wouldn't make it near my cotainers. I have direct ties with auctions in Japan. One of my friends lives there, and comes back state side every month. The other friend I have goes to japan every month. Both...
Yup it could just be the oil. I also checked the filter the first time and also check the valve, everything is 100% ok, or else how would they last for so long.:biglaugh:
I've ran a 1jz longer and put more miles on one engine with one type of oil to say that my oil weight is wrong. I've never had a failure do to oil. I did melt a piston on a moment of insanity, but never had lubrication problems. If 200,000 miles in two years dont prove it, what will?
For the...
With an aftermarket electric oil pressure gauge, my oil pressure at idle (cold) is about 80 psi. After the oil warms up it's as low as 65 psi (idle) Oil pressure can be above 100 psi depending on how high you RPM is. My oil sending unit is on the stock location.
Hi yall,
I got home at around 12:30. It was a nice drive. To bad I didn't have my Supra running. Randy is a cool cat, he has helped us all in one way or another. I wouldn't want to be in his shoes, if I lived 1800 miles away. Now he is on the road back home.
Good night!
All clips are shipped with a freight company and this clip can be shipped by Monday or Tuesday. As a service We can take the engine out of the clip to make it easier to ship and cut cost on shipping. Not to mention, that it's a pain to get rid of the actual clip.
I sell them on here. I start the clips and show you video of it running. fully tested. Take a look.

BTW you dont need to change the connectors. Use a sharp blade and cut the tabs off the injectors. The connector still clips on and doesn't come off. Ive been doing that for over 6 years to injectors with no issues ever.
