Bad connections at the head lamp or bad grounds. More than likely your connectors got tweaked in the accident. I had the one bright, one dim headlight symptom once. It turned out to be the plastic connectors to the bulbs. Wiggle the wires and see if it blinks on brighter.
Simple stuff first; check all the external stuff bolted to/near the motor.
example: I had a horrible rattle that scared the shit out of me, I thought it was something in the motor that let loose. Much to my relief, it turned out to be a loose heat shield vibrating and making a terrible racket.
That's why I also mentioned "worn bushings and/or tweaked/maladjusted suspension components". Short of a bent subframe there isn't much else it can be.
It seems to me that the condition of the shocks shouldn't affect ride height since the shocks do not offer enough resistance to support the vehicle.
A more likely suspect would be springs, bushing wear, tweaked or maladjusted suspension components. On an older car like the Supra I would...
I agree the 3rd gasket (center) can be a leaky sob. I've seen cars with the spark plugs completely submerged in oil. I use O-rings on mine, works much better than silicone seal.
Wrong. With r134 you only fill to 80% of what you would r12.
If your a/c isn't getting cold when temps rise above 95 degrees than you should troubleshoot your system, because it's not the r134.
I'm in Southern California and my a/c blows ice cold in 100+ degree weather. The only down...
I am a drag racer, and 4.30's with an auto is definitely quicker out of the hole, and also going to net a lower et than a 3.anything gear ratio.
If I could (practically) go lower, I would. There is definitly a point when low rear end gears would limit your trap speeds to the point it would...
I don't want to be a spoil sport here but after reading this thread I think someone should tell you guys...wrestling is fake. I know you're shocked, so sit down and have your mom bring you an asprin.
Brock Lesner (said with disgust)...tchh, he couldn't beat his way out of a wet paper bag...
Really?
I'm surprised, usually OCD isn't compartmentalized. :sarcasm:
I'm going to resist the urge to preach about paint protection systems, those that get it, get it. Those that don't, dont.
C'mon guys, it's ill concieved and ugly, but ...we've seen a whole bunch worse on some of the "ugliest Supra" threads over the years. At least this car is finished (no pun intended) and it's all one color.
It is a piece of shit though.
I've painted some cars, and it's always been my understanding (as told by the paint supply guys, as well as read on various manufacturer's sites) that it does have to be a perfect mix for any long term durability even with eurethanes, especially the hardner has to be exact.
Now you've done it...
It's about to rain cry-babys who couldn't get their electric fans right. Every time this comes up the same thing happens.
I love my dual electrics. As long as you chose fans that pull enough air and wire them up thermostatically...your groovin'. Also, you have to use...
