Mine was like that with out a boost controller. Blown head gasket, rebuilt head then back to boosting stock boost.just saying, might want to do a compression test along with tightening the ic clamps.
try running with out the boost controller. if it doesnt fuel cut then put one washer on each bolt between the compressor housing and waste gate actuator.
i put 3 washers, fuel cut bad. 2 washers, fuel cut. 1 one washer, no fuel cut, but i scare myself thinking something might blow.
very nice. i was picturing something different. mine is 3 times the size. im gonna make one like yours or maybe a bit smaller for a harder hit or maybe a ported box.
i wanna remake mines to fit under the targa also. 2 years ago i made one for my 12 inch kicker competition in my N/A hard top. it now sits in the shed cause if my box is in my trunk then i cant take off the targa.
im interested in some pictures to get an idea of what you built.
thats a start. decide on how much you want and need to spend then go on from there. if you're confident then start a rebuild.
someone else will chime in also
its cheaper if you did it yourself, thats if you know what you're looking at but if you can take the motor out then Im pretty sure you can tear it apart. just lable every part that you take off so you remember where they go.
for 3k, you can fix it yourself and make that hp you are looking for. total rebuild man, rip the thing apart and slap in some npr pistons from driftmotion if you're on a tight budget, get the head checked to see if its straight and not cracked and so on. decide what type of head gasket to use...
