Spent a couple more hours the other day preparing to cc the heads. Cleaned and smoothed up the combustion chambers alot and tried to get them as close to the same as my eyes would allow.
This is what the C. Chamber looked like once I did clean up and slight polishing
The cc plate that...
This is from is straight from the urban dictionary. :biglaugh:
A person who makes unecessary modifications to their most often import car (hence the term "rice") to make it (mostly make it look) faster. The most common modifications are (but not limited to):

Thats cool, was looking into the e-manage for the 7m. Just not too much literature on it though, found some stuff from way back in valts. Seems like once you have all the pieces for it, it can be a pretty powerful tool. Keep us posted!! Would be sweet to see how well it works.
On the 7M changing the shape of the port itself is a big no no as its been told. Not too sure what the advantages of having a port shaped like that could be. Looks as though there would be more turbulence involved?
Interesting idea.. I like :)
So the basic mods to being able to run a holset turbo is running a smaller exhaust side housing and wheel? cutoms mani, and external wg. A how to on this or more in depth discussion would be awesome.
Id like to learn more about this as would others more then likely. ;)
Thats one of the things I did with my c. chamber, plus ill probly getting the chamber, valve face and piston crowns ceramic coated for proper heat distribution.
I drilled the holes off from center on the plate to cc, will probly help out with getting rid of air bubbles. also put the head on a slight angle just enough to help bubbles escape.
I remeber reading some material on doing ccing a long time ago. they use a green colored solution from what i remeber. Ill hit up a local vets office I guess and see if they will sell me a couple large syringes.
That guys positive attitude with redneck stylin' sure makes me wanna buy that. yes sir ree bob! :sarcasm:
Now thats something I would use on my winter beater tercel if it happened to pop a hg. I doubt its works as well as it seems. deff couldnt see it working on a severly blown hg tho..
Did a few more things today. Cleaned up the c. chambers a bit more today. Found more areas to smooth and eliminate radius's from on the intake ports that I believe will help with the intake charge after unshrouding the valves. Polished the living crap out of the exhaust ports, getting much...
I totally agree dont go lurking, you deff know some excellent points on this subject. Like I said you wouldnt learn new things if you dont attempt them. That site you posted up is good shit, been reading a fair amount of it. When I dyno and tune going to be deffinatly be listening for knock...
Thanks GC, I didnt feel the need to go "all out" on this one and went with something I felt was somewhat conservative. I am VERY curious to see what sort of numbers I can make comparing to someone with a stock head and equal supporting mods. To maybe even prove this is a good mod for others to...
Alrighty thank you Ian, Next step on the head is cc'ing once I get it back. Gerry my machinist is also going to inspect my current valves and seats. If they are not excellent to work with I will be purchasing .5 oversize valves from suprarich.
I will be breaking in my engine in stock form...
Its always good to get the negative side on things. now how would you get any better at what you do? Of course I will be using this cylinder head, just because you think it wont work doesnt mean its going to stop me. We will see the benefits it provides for me.
If it doesnt work out, which...
I wasnt planning on cc'ing them, Id need to make a plate and a plug for the sprakplug hole but it would be good info to know how much larger the chamber is overstock. Even having the information up on here could help someone else out. Any input ian?
