Having worked in the stealership before, get your money back right now. Don't fall for any ploys they try (and they will try). Just get your money back, all of it, and go somewhere else. Even if they offer to repair it they WILL do a half assed job.

Only problem I have with a G35 is it isn't in my driveway. Best stock exhaust note ever IMO. Get the newer one.

That tar will melt above the turbo, possibly running onto the turbo and DP that can get well above that tars flash point. I have seen that stuff melt on a Honda with a Mitsu turbo...it wasn't pretty.

I'm with poodles on this one, new OEM is about the only way to go. All the ones at the junk yards usualy fall apart in one way or another upon removal, but you may get lucky. Just those round clips IIRC hold it on.

The kids are only that way due to the parent's lack of proper child rearing skills. When I was young if I broke something, first I got my ass beat, then I had to work for the cash to replace or repair it, and then I got my ass beat again. Needless to say I have proper respect for others...

A few people have tuned lex & 440 stockers. But without having the stockers flowtested, I wouldn't chance the melted piston. I would have it at a 7-8 range. As with anything else, its the tune that will make or break you.
