i got the problem fixed. the wiring on the article was incorrect. the green and yellow wires are switched.
to answer your question, the white wire is a parking break switch. the limiter will still work without the white wire connected to anything

i have installed a bee*r rev limiter on my 1jz gte from a jza70. i am wondering why the limiter wont let me pass 3000 rpm even with the Rev 1 setting at "F".
i have followed the article to properly installing this unit and still no luck...
doest the black hole in the center of out galaxy also align with other stars and planets. we dont see them blowing the fuck up. in turn i dont see why we would.
