He's also got a really trick CNC'd one off waterneck to pump setup, amazing CNC cam covers.......you know what....I'll let him detail this sorta thing, way way too much to list and way more than I could possible remember.
So you were not pulling my leg when you said you had a big plan going on in the background with your car! I wanna know what he's not told us yet. If what the man has shown so far is any indication of his dedication to this car and it's new changes, then personally I cannot wait!
Look so good...
LS1 coils have a flipped upside down pin arrangement to LS2 coils. LS2 coils are slightly stronger IIRC.
1zz coils I have no personal experience with.
But all the coils discussed so far are made by denso, including the stock 7m coils.
He's gonna find the ls coils are way cheaper than the AEM pencil coils. Also known in some circles as Honda CBR coils.
I run the LS1 coils on my 2jz, so I didn't have to struggle with the whole waste fire issue on top of the coil swap which you will.
An aftermarket ECU of some type is required...
I could agree more, you have no idea how many times I have said this exact same thing. 1st is gone quicker than possible to shift out of almost.
Jeff Lange told me once that all MKIII's sold in Canada came with LSD's NA or turbo.
I am running 3.73's BTW. Big single.
I think I can really identify with this also as I am the original owner of my car and I have been through many an up and down with it. Recently with my current 2jz swap I would say I was pushed as close as I have ever been to dropping it all together. Now I'm glad I didn't though. And if I had I...
I just really would like to see some pictures of your swap. Remember your always your own biggest critic.
The only thing I would be concerned about is A. As you say it's all working, so tearing it apart may be asking for troubles. B. It will be no small task to do a complete redo/copy of the...
I vote no help until you show pics of project! (Kidding)
If it's unneeded just keep in mind you could end up opening a huge can of worms by messing with your harness, cracked plugs, cracked wires etc.
go slow be careful.
To my mind your way overbuilding the bottom, not that this is a bad thing to be honest. But for the power goals of 350 the rods are completely un-nessecary. Even the pistons are a bit over. But if you have loftier power goals for the future then your doing it right by worrying about it now.
I...
Can someone please explain to me how/why this car leaves burning, flaming peelout marks?

Alternate youtube link if you prefer, (more trust worthy), but you have to skip to the 6:44 mark of the video to see the...
What are you kidding me man? Or did someone let my little project slip to ya, LOL. I got a 74 with next to nothing on the OD, no motor and plans to drop my old built 7m into it. Love this particular nissan. TBH the only Nissan I really like the shape of....alot.
Good taste though man.
