Is this a series 1 or 2 ecu. And ya depending upon which coil setup you are using you are also going to have to set the dwell for the particular coil correctly to prevent burning out the coil and for proper operation.

I had to install the kill switch setup after my battery was relocated to the trunk due to engine bay space limitations.
It is true the track will have you start your car and they will operate the kill switch to see if in fact in kills the batteries power link and also check that your alternator...
PCV operation is important to the engine for oiling in what I have read along with fume and blowby removal. So a way of removing the fumes while not contaminating your intake and gumming up the valves is important. A catchcan or other means of doing this seems important to me.
