I went with NGK iridium spark plugs with MSD wires myself and I got them from autozone and Titan. Funny part is with the iridium plugs when i turn the car off and turn it back to ACC the car sometimes doesnt shut off even if i have waited for 1 to 2 sec... i have to say i really like the NGK...
i said the same thing... but there is no such thing as a true manual GTR... its either automatic on the center or manual on the paddle shifters... but like i said before with a automatic that shifts in .02 sec ya kindda dont need a manual, yet it takes the fun away from driving a car. ya gain...
i didnt know about that feature... great for the tracks... the guy that i talked to said that its almost usless to have a manual trans in it since the auto shifts gears in .02 sec yeah thats .02. but personally i would have fun with the paddel shifters myself.:evil2:
is it really worth 80k... who knows... although it is limited production, somewhere around 2400 i believe, and really if they want to pay for it, its worth it to them.
yeah im with everyone else on what been said to change. thats one problem with customizing... not everyone may like it and/or someone is going to have to clean up said mess. but then again it is personal preference. good luck with the car, just a few changes and you will have a well done supra.
well we also do insurance inspections which is why he was there but he might come back for some other things.... he said the stock audio system wasnt up to par compared to the rest of the car.
hey everyone,
I work at an audio shop in Orlando FL, and Saturday to my surprise a 2009 Nissan GTR rolled up. I talked to the guy for a few mins and I found out that it was only the second one sold in Florida so far and that it went for 80K. A few things on it that surprised me and that I...
instead of spending that kind of money on a center bearing i would go with a straight drive-shaft... i know titan makes one but i cant think of anyone else who makes them. there around $380.00
come on if your gonna make fun at least have the info correct i said 140 not 160 and i can see the speedo being a little of at that speed, from age or ware and tare. so yeah possibly i was doing 130 when my speedo said 140.
lol. come on now. why would i make it up? it was pretty much a brand new car i bought it with on 50k original miles. i got it up to that over about a five mile strech on I95. and ive actually gotten my current one thats an 88 n/a auto stock around 130.
on mine i did 20% all the way around. but on the windshield i did something neat. i did a thick strip of 20% at the top and 50% on the rest of the windshield. you really cant tell its tinted unless you look really close or i tell you. no cop has noticed since ive had it done.
