Regarding foundations, you may want to also get a tranny cooler. The auto tranny can't hold much hp, but keeping it cool will help it be more resiliant.
Oops...you got the basic gist of what I meant. I know it's not cost effective, but it would be great on the "look what I did" scale. Kinda like how hot rodders do weird things just to say they did them and make their car special. I guess I have just been thinking wierd lately.
The 2jz is slightly wider due to a larger cylinder bore, hence the fitment issue. It may be the case that the same turbos on a 7m would be able to fit. You never know until someone tries it.
I know this is rather crazy, but has anyone ever even thought of redoing the chasis in aluminum? Isn't the torsional rigidity better with aluminum? It is lighter also (as we all know). There are probably much more practical solutions, but this is at least fun to talk about.
Ok, I want to get in on the free desktop one. I clicked on your link, but I don't know what offer I want to complete. Which one do you recomend? I don't see the consumer info one, or I'd do that.
Has anyone had their auto tranny built up by import performance transmission, or IPT? I was checking what they do, and it seemed like good work. What do you guys think?

The stock tranny cooler seems tiny compared to some of the aftermarket ones. I know a lot of problems come from the tranny getting too hot. I bet a bigger cooler could help calm a lot of fears in a few areas.
