Did your connector harnesses look like this?

I can't get the link to go straight to the supra one. You'll have to update the car.
I'll have my radio out later today and still have the factory wiring harness attached to adapters. Does or did your 92 have two separate plugs to go into the stereo one that's like an 8 or 12 pin and another that is like a 4 pin? That's how the factory harness in my 87 is.
Awesome Build Gonzy!!! The video is so badass. I just put together that its a JZ engine with Jay-Z on the track. Supra Mind Fuck. Keep up the good work. +1 Waiting on the video with the sound of the engine.
I just want to take the opportunity to thank Jetjock for sharing his vast knowledge base with us again. You know he doesn't have to do that for us, he chooses to. JJ I've learned so much from you over the last couple years; please keep it coming despite those whom are unable to accept...
Thanks for the reply Grim, I do understand that the chassis of the vehicle is a very large ground path but I was more referring to the cable itself being able to carry the grounding properties of the negative side of the battery to the chassis with adequate capacity for high amperage draw such...
Not to thread jack but hvyman I know you're a very knowledgeable guy about things but I was under the impression from my electronics training that when you mismatched sizes of wires you were selling yourself short due to the ground path being as important as the + flow?
One can only hope...
+1FTW
Speaking from recent personal experience, I tried twice to cheap out on having a powerful reliable 7m MK3 in the last 3 years. I developed rod knock, just fixed the bearings and seals, and had it return 30 miles later, then tried to get a "low-mileage" 7m from Japan by way of Canada that...
In my career installing Ignition Interlocks (Car Breathalyzers) if someone blows alcohol while driving we set the parking lights/hazards/highbeams to rapidly flash along with a DEI siren.
This has led me to discover that some Jeeps have a trailer brake/light pigtail behind the driver kick...
Love the sticker idea guys. Not to change subjects but is anyone on here or does anyone know the guy that drives a teal MK3 and was at the Dyno on holbrook st in Greensboro today?
I just noticed something in your first post;
"can someone direct me to picturs on how to adjust the cps to 10??
because thats the only thing that makes sense to me about it sputtering and about to backfire..

Yea I am gonna leave the engine in the car. Unfortunately I don't have an engine stand or a drive in garage. I'm doing all my block work in the car and my head work in my backyard workshop. Which is better than before. I actually stripped it down in my former apartment parking lot.
Does Anyone...
@toyotanos: thank you for that info, I greatly appreciate it. @CyFi6 I assume the gap between the timing cover and block is what you're referring to. Good thinking. I may have not addressed that otherwise. Is the small hole between that timing cover gap and the #1 Cylinder an oil or water passsage?
Hello everyone, I am in need of some advice for tackling a situation I'm sure many of you have been in. This is the surface of my block after blowing my hg.
My understanding is that what I've circled in red are my water passages and blue my oil passages. Is what is in green an oil passage as...
