I've just ordered some Bilsteins from Autozone for my rears and will get the fronts next month. You can lower your car about .5"-1" with these with stock springs. I like to drag race and after talking with Wii about these this is what I decided to go with.
Later on I'll be sending them to Wii...
I think that it just comes down to how much you want to spend and how much power you want to make. The turbos are about the same price, however with the GT35 you have to buy a new manifold, wastegate and downpipe. If your goal is 500rwhp at high boost then I say go with the Boss.
If this could be set up as a sticky until the event that would be great:)
It looks like there is some people that would like to get the rules changed, we can do this however we need more people to run to do so. Otherwise the classes will stay the same.
Guys, this is one of the 2 biggest events all year for supras! It actually has the most events(racing that is)!! This is going to be a great year for the MK3 to drag race!! But unless we get more participation it aint going to be pretty! So bring what you have!!! We have a Class for you...
You should just try and find some one that will make one for you. I have one that I had made that is a 3" 45* pipe and bought a 1/2" pipe at Ace hardware and had some one weld it up for me cost me a total of $65 with coupler and welding. I moved my PS reservoir to the front by my IC though.
Get a Boss Turbo and be done with it!! Honestly unless you have had an upgraded CT26 and a bolt on turbo like the Boss most people are biased and pump out just what they read on the internet.
I have had a CT26 60-1 turbo and now have a JT58 (60-1 T4). There is a night and day difference...
I've had my Fidanza for years. It's been a great flywheel so far. The only problem that I had was with the clutch disk's material. I had a RPS MAX Clutch with a 6 puck and that set up wasn't that bad and I never welded the clutch. It's when I went to a feramic disk that messed up. Now I...
The HKS SSQV is such a good BOV, it is loud, and the special edition black one is SEXY!!! Now I have the new Tial Q BOV and I really like it! It is the quietest BOV that I have ever heard! Which I love! I have the blue one and it looks great and matches my couplers and car.
I'll let you...
Ok guys, it's all figured out and running really good!! I'll be taking it out tomorrow night for some fun with the local domestic guys and see if any of them have the privilege of seeing my GOT YOU plate.
Basically what happened is when I put on my new IC set up I took off the turbo and...
Ya the boost controller is hooked up correctly, I made sure of that. I have a Turbo XS mbc that I've used for years, after my greddy profec blew up. When I had it hooked up before backwards all it does it let it run on straight wastegate psi which is about 12psi.
Now when I was taking...
Ok guys, have a problem, Now my car boosts way too much, it's much faster as in 25psi by 4k rpms. But that is way too much and I'm tuned for 19 on pump.
So I drilled and tapped the fitting in the turbo right above where the coupler goes on the housing. Hooked up my boost controller and went...
Here you go: 61mm T4 bolt on turbo for $1075 you just have to make your own lines.

Basically a bolt on GT35
It will actually boost slower, because there is pressure drop post IC. I had this on my HKS pipes and there was a nipple by the bend right before the big HKS 3000 pipe. Once I tapped it into the turbo last night and took it out for a drive it spooled faster than I've felt it in a long time.
