what year taurus and what engine? and does it physically bolt up? and im assuming i would need the plug as well to adapt it? got pinouts of what goes where? i got no prob wiring in the plug but making a diff mounting bracket might be a prob since im putting a ffim and keeping my ac. might cause...

ill post pics of mine when installed.
you can use the camry coils and run the camry ignitor. just wire the inputs into waste spark (1 and 6 together, 2 and 5 together, then 3 and 4 together) and have them triggered by the stock ignitor. im wiring mine to be triggered by the edis6 module i already have wired up so i dont have to mod...
got more parts. got the 6 individual coils from a 95 camry and the 6 channel ignitor so i can wire them up properly and als a brand new ford tps and pigtail for it for the tb for my ffim.
gonna try to get the coils and ignitor installed tomarrow. ill post pics when i do...
the 6 channel has 6 inputs and 6 outputs. the 3 channel only has 3 inputs and 3 outputs. the 96 has the coils that have a post on them and run a plug wire to the other cylinder. so only 3 coils are used.
as for smart ignitor. i beleive all of the 6 channel ignitors control the dwell of the coils.
well didnt bother checking plugs. pulled apart the 2 burnt ecus and the "good" ecu. all have the same resistor fried. seems something is amiss in the engine harness itself. we are gonna strip it down and check it all out. but likely just fix the 88 harness i have and swap to the 88 harness and...
take a closer look at my pic. the camry ignitor has 2 connectors. 1 at each end. both 8 pin connectors. i even have the diagrams and pinouts for them on my car domain page.
also, the part number i posted was the only number on the toyota sticker on the ignitor.
ill try to get some. idk if ill be able to though. going after work. im running 780's now so if his injectors are bad ill just try to find my old ones for him.
idk what plugs he is using. and no his injectors werent tested. i guess ill try to find one of my fpr's to test on it after we replace the fuel line. we wanted to redo the stock truck line to make it cleaner anyway. we will have to check it out. ill have him drive it today and shut it off while...
speed sensor isnt hooked up. i never had it hooked up on mine either. and its not a misfire persay. its very light popping. its open dp. no cat. almost like a ping but not quite.
they are. i was asking about the sparkplug wires though. look in the round hole where the plug wire goes. its got a lil male pin in there. the 7m wire doesnt work. tried a spare already.
stock 440cc/min injectors. i never had that issue on mine when i put the walbro in with stock injectors. but pig rich shouldnt make it breakup and pop like that. sounds like spark blowout almost. its wierd.
