Get a meter and read each pin to the ECU plugs end to end and you will find out exactly what they are wired to, at least for one and two. The 3rd will go through the M1 plug if its for the oil pressure.
Changed engine mounts today.
First shows the revshift silicone vs MKIV mounts. You can see the length difference between the two.
Second is to show that the silicone rubber mount got burned by the heat of the twins and failed.
Luckily the company withdrew them from their website. When I...
The fuel pump has two modes of operation with the stock ecu. I have never run an AEM so I'm not sure if it operates the FP relay the same. You can test the voltage on the check engine connector and see if its 9 or 12 volts. The Walbros do not like running at 9V apparently.
You can read about...
Won't crank?
I did the starter 30 amp relay bypass mod to solve that after the starter and relays were all changed. Only thing left was all the wires and connections which were from 1988 which I didn't feel like changing. Many purists do not like the fix as it doesn't fix the actual problem...

If you want to use the old one is it repairable?
You could try and special order the part number listed earlier or see if there is a paralell flow that is close in size and have an ac shop install it and fab the mounts. Thats the route I am taking here. Most of the ac shops in kuwait have second...
Nope the JDM number is different.
JDM - 88460-24051
USA - 88460-14252
USA version was designed for R12 jdm I am not sure if they were R134 yet.
You might want to consider paralell flow if you plan
on R134.
The design of the two probably varies also between lhd and rhd.
A wideband would help diagnose a lean spike if thats what is happening and it only takes a minute to read the codes.
I had a hesitation at around 3K with my walbro pump and solved it with the 12v mod. Apparently the walbros do not run as good at 6v.

The intake and exhaust covers are connected with a short rubber hose under the coil pack cover, the pcv valve goes to the intake and the exhaust cover goes to the charge pipes which you won't have and dumping to the...
