    Wanted Pics of HKS SPORT

The 75mm sport is very quiet also. I had it on my car until the road salt got to it (about 6 winters worth).

    always pig rich.. need help.

Is the stock ecu happy Mike? Vf = 2.5 I assume you are making the changes to only the WOT portion. Also, how rich does your wideband read and does the logging in the Pro match it?

GB feeler -- 7M Cams (new not regrinds)!

IMO, Joe and Jeff were the reason HPF was doing things for the MKIII. I haven't had a good experience dealing with any of thier other sales reps. I'd be ok if one of them would bother to post over here though, without fear of getting MKIII coodies or something. Adam, WTF do MKII's have to do...

GB feeler -- 7M Cams (new not regrinds)!

Without a dedicated MK3 owner on staff @ HPF, my decision to purchase cams from them has changed, I'd no longer be interested. They can't even bother to come on our forum...

    Anyone ever driven cross-country?

Just go out and sit in the car for 24 hours, only getting up to stretch every 3-4 hours if you aren't sure what a long road trip is going to be like. IIRC, it is going to be about 3,000 miles. If you average 80 MPH, that would be around 38 hours in the saddle. Hrm.. Sounds like something only a...

How to achieve best RIDE COMFORT?

The only way to make it more cushy than stock is to put some big pimpin' high profile tires on, like a 215/60R16 or so, and run them a little low on air.

AEM ems who has used it?

You'll probably only find brass, wich can be brazed on. Maybe the pipe is thick enough to tap?

    Auto brake boosting

It is pretty simple. Put your left foot on the brake and gas it with your right foot. It'll cook your tranny/brakes if you get carried away with it but measured ammounts are fine.

AEM ems who has used it?

You should get over onto the AEM forum. Here is a thread dealing with your question- http://forum.aempower.com/bbs/viewtopic.php?t=8498&highlight=map+sensor

    Boss Turbos

The bolt pattern would be the same but that divider in the DDP may not fit properly, similar to the SP61GT bolt on...

so i dont know much about race gas..

Not nessicarily. The average specific gravity of pump fuel is around .75. If the racing fuel you put in has a higher specific gravity, it will run richer. If the racing fuel you put in has a lower specific gravity, it will run leaner. Most typical gasoline products (pump and racing) are...

    XSPower has begun..

Heh, that is kinda funny, even thier own damned turbo doesn't fit on thier manifold. Have one here that a 62-1 will not fit on. Just buy a T4 flange. They are commony available 1/2" thick, should give you enough room...

so i dont know much about race gas..

The specific gravity of a given fuel can have an effect on the A:F ratio in an open loop system since you are injecting a set volume of fuel (for a given pulse width) to accompany a set mass of air.

    No more for me...

The sweet smelling clouds are just telling you that there is coolant burning. You need to find out where it is coming from in order to fix it properly. It may be a cracked head, bock, turbo etc. I've even seen people attach coolant lines to vacuum ports accidentally...

    7m-GTE engine question

If you have a factory turbo car, just use the harness, sensors and ECU from it.

Round motor mounts on 88 car

You need to use the square mounts and the "ears" from the original engine that go with them. That is of course, unless you want to swap to the 89+ subframe as well.

    Bar Legal?

Just put a US spec 2JZ in with the smog equipment intact. That is legal.

what type of igntion system do you run

Yeah, the HKS DLI is reliable and definitely helps out. It isn't as powerful as some of the twin cap CDI systems though like Autronic, M&W and AEM (the AEM is soon to be available again, hopefully more reliable this time). BTW, you will not see much, if any gain from an ignition upgrade unless...

HP or torque, which do you prefer?.....

The thing about an engine that has more hp than torque is that the torque just doesn't drop off past 5252 rpm. It just keeps pushing you back harder and harder as you strain towards the redline. This is a great feeling compared to an initial shove followed by tapering off of acceleration. Feels...
