Maft Pro initial start up lean!

Your aux 1 voltage is flat lining at 0 volts so you know its pulling as much gas as it can. Mine did this for a while but just playing with the mainscale according to fuel pressure and injector size made a difference. That and tweaking the lower idle values on the VE table. your sure PTT is off?

Oh Oil, Why won't you just stay where you belong?

I concur that you should get the 57 trim. If you think its the turbo thats going bad they usually smoke on deceleration so rap it out in 3rd gear up to a comfortable rpm and let the engine do the braking. Decelerating under load will make your exhaust smoke like a chimney if the seals are going...

    oh noes, bhg? :(

I hope to god your just dyslexic. If air bubbles are coming out of your coolant get yourself a block tester to know for sure. Go to napa or other parts store and just find a tester that looks for acidity or CO2 content in your coolant. Never know you may be lucky and just have an issue with...

^ first of all i can think of maybe 2 or 3 people that may be able to make sense of what you just posted. If you want help, ask clear descriptive questions with enough background so we know wtf your talking about and a more specific title for thread. Otherwise no one will bother to read your...

    The Suspension Setups Info Thread

Ouch, but pretty much true considering how old those threads are. In that case why have it if its not going to be put to use or hidden away the way it is. I knew of it and it still took me a bit to dig it back up because of where its placed.

    The Suspension Setups Info Thread

Not to be a dick but we have a section specifically made for this sort of information. The parts review section has been around for a while and would be easier to access here than to have it in some random thread that will get buried behind new ones as time passes where people just wont have...

Took turbo apart What do you think?

Find a shop that does this, and does it well. we cant run a micrometer on a picture so they are pretty much useless to us. Best advice call the shop and ask them what to do from this point, trying to reassemble it at this point may put you in a deeper hole. Good luck and dont expect any...

PacNW Supra Nationals Aug 15th-17th Portland

Thanks for putting in the effort Mark. From what it looks like organizing this event is more than a hand full with plenty of people to nag about the details. Me for one, but screw it i'll do whatever I can to rep. Hopefully we can get more people down there maybe even gather up a census to rival...

    Dyno in 3rd?

Depends on the dyno and operator. No need to unplug ECT if they can load the tranny enough not to downshift. If its a good dyno and operator just putting it in drive and waiting for the shifts will be all you need to get a solid run out of it in 3rd. had runs on two dyno's with different...

    Coolant Level Sensor woes

Well mine is all clean, I can turn the tank upside down and it'll move around, I spent some time shaking the tank up and down with the floater bouncing back and forth to knock off any grime but the SOAB still doesnt float.

    Coolant Level Sensor woes

Ok background. I was driving back from a 350 mile trip with ~ 100 miles left. I go to overtake a motor home and having an a340e it down shifts and i go from 2, to 5k rpm almost instantly, pressure builds up and 90 degree coolant hose underneath the power steering reservoir just explodes. All...

    Jaguar_5's 87 Turbo Build

Nice work man, havent been on here in a while. Looked over your to do list and if you go buy the parts 1 day, you could have 90% of that stuff done on day 2. BTW why are you keeping the stock 3000 pipe? I planned on doing that but realized why not just run 2.5 inch piping up to the TB and...

    MAFTPRO problems. HELP!

I'd just reinstall tunerpro and start from scratch with your xdf and aldl files. If your boost guage is the only one being funky then its probably the gauge itself that is having problems, a shitty vacuum connection in the bay in or around the area you have your boost gauge and MAP sensor...

    MAFTPRO problems. HELP!

Wow, even i'm starting to get frustrated with your car, heh. Is the laptop getting data similar to your pro yet? If you can try to create a bin folder and log a drive from idle to cruise to WOT to decell maybe i can comb through it. Save the .adl file/s with it. just hit f4 -> select log file...

    MAFTPRO problems. HELP!

thats exactly what i mean by the grounds. aux1 voltage at 0.0 means your ecu is trying to pull the maximum amount of fuel possible wherever it is at anything less than 2.0v. Try bumping the mainscale down further in the negatives a little bit at a time until this voltage bumps up a tiney bit...

    MAFTPRO problems. HELP!

That kill switch may be causing your trouble. Make sure the wideband and maftpro are grounded to the same place but not the same lug if that makes sense. I run 4.8 with no issues and it works awesome, no experience with 5.03, i'd try 4.8. Also running your laptop with the AC inverter is going...

    MAFTPRO problems. HELP!

Where is your maftpro grounded too? Ground the wideband to the same place as the pro, preferably that long metal bar behind the dash, you have to take out the glove box to get to it. Where are you getting the power for your laptop? Are you using a cig light adapter or battery, try to use...
