have you tried adjusting the plunger coming out of the booster that actually pushes on the master? with remans youre more than likley going to lose that close tolerance between the two. thats why there is an adjustment nut on the rod.

you say ur not getting boost when u give it gas...are u DRIVING or just sitting there revving it? u wont see a boost reading on ur gauge if ur just sitting there revving it

ive always been told that with ABS its furthest from ABS pump, not master.

ive done it by just removing the grilles. Used my soldering gun with the "cutting tip" and enlarged the hole to fit 4 1/2" instead of the 4". a SKEWdriver will be your best friend for this job as the screws are VERY close to the quarter glass.
