I agree, something that effeicient would cost alot more. Plus it is too long and kinda narrow. This will give you trouble in mounting as you will have to get it custom mounted because it is over 7" longer than stock plus the pipes will have to be mounted on top of that 25 inches.

I dont think those are the dimensions. For one thing the intercooler is longer length wise then width wise, so this could not be 3x4x1. And if that is true, what would be the point of that intercooler, I have a CD case is bigger than that.
First of all what are the dimensions of the intercooler, and secondly it is a side to side so you will have to run extra piping to make it fit (if it does). There for effieciency drops as long as you are running stock intake manifold and not front facing.
It is hard to tell you if the...
Another Question:
If i were to taped into the male connector on the dimmer switch, will the lights be dimmer than usual? Also will the lights on the gauges dim, as I dim them?
Well I heard that moog is better. An old friend of mine's father was a toyota mechanic and he recommened them. They have a lifetime warranty as long as you take care of them too. I am going to go with those soon.
Hope that helps
Hey
I have an EGT and a boost gauge that need to be hooked up on my 87 turbo supra and was wondering which wires to splice into. I have to run wires to a constant 12v source when the igition is on and wires to a 12v source when the dash lights are on.
Any help will be appreciated
I bought a rebuilt head from clear water cylinder-head. When I asked they said that there is no difference between the two heads. They had measured the cams, valves, clearences and all that. They told me they found no differnece at all whatsoever. So hope that will help.
Well I am not going to be getting the power that I want right away. It will be about 1-2 years until I get all the supporting mods and goodies that I require to run an efficient 400-425hp supra. I expect with porper maintaince and respectable daily driving (with a little fun during the odd...
Well I think that I am leaning towards the factory set up for now. I know they can hold what I need and still have the life I want out of them. Since I am not going to be boosting high just yet, I think it will be better for me to just run with the stockers. Just so you all know the JE pistons...
Ok thank you. I have slight scoring on the cylinder walls and it may need only a honing job but may need boring. Which I am not sure yet.
The other question that I require an answer to is, do I need to overbore the clyinders to compensate for thermal expansion and if so how much?
Is this...
Yes that makes sense. But the question is about the reliabilty. The thing is my mechanic is very weary of aftermarket products. I trust him because he has worked on 7m-gte's before and has a good rep. I realise that JE is good, but how good when for about the first two years I will only have...
ok I think there is a general consensus on this, but how is the reliability of the JE's as far as working with stock rods, and not overboring, as far as I understand I can get them in stock size
btw those JE are shiny!
hey
I am currently rebuilding my engine and I have a choice between some JE pistons and stockers from toyota. The JEs are only $10 more than the stockers per piston ($127 canadian per piston from toyota). The thing is my mechanic is weary of aftermarket and trusts toyota through and through...
So I am getting some work done to my supra (87 turbo). Meaning I am getting the metal head gasket replaced only to find out that my block need to be machined due to some nice pitting on the rear cylinder.
Anyways the point, roughly how many hours work do you think it will cost to remove the...
I just recieve a Strut Tower Bar off from a personal sale. It came from a supra owner who was parting out and was made by Cusco.
When I installed it, the Bar is applying pressure to the idle adjustment screw housing. Before, when I started the car, the engine would torque flex whenever reved...
