Might have to take it for a spin see how it compairs to the old 7M turbo, I don't see the point either, bit like making a corvette with a 200hp engine.
They are a buzz to drive but a bit to noisey and rattly to drive on a daily basis IMHO The Exige is acctually slower than the Elise in a straight line due to extra mass and alot of drag. Personally I would rather have the Vauxhall VX220 Turbo (Opel Roadster) same car but with more sound...
Have you checked for codes?? If it feels flat you could have a faulty knock sensor which is pulling your timing. Have you checked your base timing? That could also be retarded a few degrees, the car will boost but will still be slow.

Cam Orientaion Injected Nitrous, it was fitted to N/A's befor they had cam profile switching to give you a boost like V tec wooooooooooooooooooooo
Can someone explain to me why you need to upgrade the fuel pressure regulator?? If you have the flow from the pump that is way more than the car needs for 400 hp why do you need a different regulator surly the stock one which is controlled by vacume/boost will rais the pressure as the boost...
If it fires with starting fluid, it points to a fuel problem. It would seem that your injectors arn't firing or but I don't think this is possible you have your feed and return lines for fuel on the wrong way.
