Sawblades.
That is all.
Also, karman vortex sounds cool, but sucks. Rubber coolant hoses on the back of the head were a great idea. Other than that, no real complaints.
Why bother? Ours is digital and you can always change the color of the LED's to suit your tastes. If it really bothers you, just relocate it to the glovebox where you won't see it. The Mk4 controls are separated into different knobs, and would be an absolute nightmare to wire into our cars with...
Exactly. You need to match the bore size to the piston to ensure proper wall clearance. Forged pistons expand more than cast pistons, so you have to be very precise with the bore size or you'll encounter bind or excessive piston slap. Doing forged pistons in stock size is not a good idea as...
Another benefit of this is that you won't have to replace it every couple of years. Silicone couplers and steel are way better at standing up to that environment when compared to the factory rubber pipe.
I don't like the idea of supporting illegal immigrants, you're essentially screwing yourself out of tax money when you do. I'd much rather go somewhere else and pay more knowing that they're law-abiding tax-paying citizens. Just my .02
I emailed the Venom vendor on ebay, and he reported that the "direct drop in" injectors use new denso cores and different internals to gain the flow they advertise. I'm probably going to pick up a set so as to avoid hacking up a new engine harness to put injector clips on it.
You'll want to bore the block for the specific size of each piston. There's no way to do aftermarket pistons properly without boring the block to the proper clearances.
You heard right, no more paying $180 WITH the SF's discount from the dealer. I was digging around on Autozone's website and the center support bearing for the driveshaft is $39.99 with a three month warranty, and is a special order item. I'll be buying one with next month's parts budget and I'll...
Those wheels will probably clear the brakes, at worst you're going to need a spacer, which is not that hard to do. Be sure to get the kind of spacer with an additional set of studs. I've seen those wheels and there's not a lot on the back of the wheel that could interfere with the brakes.
Why not just swap the whole subframe? Leave the axles in, you can always swap the diff if you want, you don't need to pull the axles for that. There are ways to work around a lack of equipment if you just get creative
That is absolutely false. You will not get a high mileage supra to feel the way it did at 39k with 8 grand. Not to mention he's probably looking for a car to drive, not a bare shell to sit around forever waiting to be worked on.
I say go for it, haggle him down as much as you can. See if you...
Nope, those are different. http://www.a1racing.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=1937
Those are the ones I'm talking about. Apparently HPF is about to start selling them, so save your pennies for a set.
