Here is something I did while on the MKIV side of SF. The question/debate does piston speed increase by stroke! The 3.4 Titan kit for the 2JZ was the deal in question.
Some time ago I was called too the carpet for saying @ xxx compression is equal to xxx boost! I could not find the article again for anything in the world. This may not mean anything, but it bugged the crap out of me :icon_conf Anyway here is a link to a compression calculator...
Do not use Dex-Cool!! It has a very corrosive effect on aluminium. Use a coolant that is phosfate free. Ever seen aluminium turn black? For you guys saying no problem using it! You are on borrowed time, water pump failure, heater core leaks any coolant failure = BHG!!!

Hey guys it's not an issue of the cam lift here. The shop had the wrong shims in, the clearance was not right. The engine ran ok until the bind was to much and spit the shim out. The same happens with high lift cams. But the lobe catches the edge of the shim and flips it out.
